On September 5th, 2018 (Wednesday),
Flash to HTML5 Migration and Conversion e-Learning Seminar ~Learning from 3 Case Studies~
Will be held.
It was announced that support for Flash Player will end at the end of 2020 (Adobe Press Release, July 2017). In the past, many e-learning materials have been created using Flash, so data migration and conversion to HTML5 are actively being pursued.
In this seminar, ・Issues caused by the end of Flash support ・Migration and conversion methods from Flash to HTML5 content (AnimateCC, videos, tool conversion) ・What needs to be done by the end of 2020 will be the main focus, and we will also introduce case studies from three companies that are already in the process of migrating their e-learning materials to HTML5.
・There are many e-learning materials created with Flash, but I don't know how to proceed with migration and conversion ・Instead of creating HTML5 e-learning materials from scratch, I want to utilize Flash assets and proceed with migration and conversion ・I want to convert from Flash to HTML5 with as little effort as possible ・I want to replace an LMS that does not support HTML5 (migrate to an HTML5-compatible system) If you are an e-learning professional who wants to find a solution to these challenges, please join us. In addition, after the seminar, we will hold individual consultation sessions for those who wish. Please feel free to apply.
For those who have such challenges
There are many e-learning materials created with Flash, but I don't know how to proceed with migration and conversion
Adobe announced the end of support for Flash Player at the end of 2020. As a result, each browser is gradually ending support. Not only will it become inaccessible, but it will also be exposed to security risks.
How much cost and schedule is required?
You need to consider the number and type of teaching materials, as well as users (learning environment) and administrators (production and updating environment). In this seminar, we will introduce actual cases that we have handled at our company.
What methods are there?
In addition to simple methods such as video conversion, utilizing PowerPoint materials, and using AnimateCC for conversion, various plans are being considered.
Are there any positive reasons to move away from Flash?
Flash was not compatible with mobile devices. Mobile learning is a growing trend worldwide, and it is said that it is the responsibility of companies to provide an environment where learning can be done anytime and anywhere.
