Challenges Before Implementation
HS: What challenges did you face during the implementation?
Mr. Ishii: Our company is a new railway company established in 2015, and we just opened a new line in 2023. We have many train drivers, but they all came from various industries, so their backgrounds were different. Many of them were not very familiar with compliance and internet literacy, so we had the challenge of wanting to standardize knowledge in those areas.

HS: After implementation, was there any feedback from within the company?
Ishii: Some of the training participants had very little basic knowledge, such as the vocabulary in the materials and how to use emails. I feel that using the materials has helped expand their understanding from the basics.
HS: Have you found any points that you feel have been convenient since the introduction?
Ishii: Indeed, it is convenient that everyone can take the same materials. Knowledge is unified, and by checking the management screen, we can see who has progressed to what extent, which was very user-friendly. Those who actually took the course also mentioned, "It's easy to understand!"
HS: Thank you. Were there any criteria for selecting the materials?
Ishii: The criteria were ease of understanding and budget. In a situation where the budget was not yet determined, the ability for all employees to take the same content at an affordable price and achieve knowledge unification became the deciding factor.

Mr. Ishii: There are no particular issues or points for improvement. Since 2021, you have been responding directly, and your responses have been very quick and easy to understand, which has been a great help.

HS:Do you currently have any materials you are interested in or would like to work on?
Ishii:We have completed the employee training, and the line opened on August 26, 2023. The drivers are also engaged in driving operations, so if there is another opportunity for employee training, I would like to consider it.
