To ensure stable operation, we confirmed the equipment configuration and initial settings of the teacher license renewal training system, and conducted load testing and parameter tuning. To streamline the management of the courses, we developed participant and administrator functions through customization of Moodle.

Customer Requests
The Open University of Japan operates a teacher license renewal system using Moodle.
The license renewal period is conducted twice a year, and approximately 4,000 participants use the Moodle system to take courses for license renewal over a period of 1 to 2 months.
Issue 1
Since load testing was not conducted during the implementation of the Moodle system, there were concerns about response degradation and system downtime.
Issue 2
The teacher license renewal course is operated on a different course management system than Moodle. Although the course status and results such as attendance tickets were displayed on Moodle, the synchronization was slow, leading to complaints from participants.
Additionally, enhancing the Moodle features for administrators, such as creating statistical information for participant registration and attendance confirmation, was also a challenge.
Task 3
Due to the importance of the service for renewing teaching licenses and the short provision period, stable system operation and comprehensive operational support during the submission period were essential.

During the service provision, we have established an operational system for the teacher license renewal training system from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and Saturdays, and we have built a system to respond immediately in case of any issues.
Customer Feedback from Clients
By conducting load testing, we were able to understand the overall processing capacity of the system. Since we knew the limits during actual service provision, we were able to welcome the period of teacher training courses with peace of mind.
