To ensure stable operation, we have checked the equipment configuration and initial settings of the teacher's license renewal training system, and conducted load testing and parameter tuning. In order to streamline the management of courses, we have developed student and administrator functions through customization of Moodle.

Customer Requests Received
At The Open University of Japan, we operate a teacher license renewal system using Moodle.
The renewal period is held twice a year, and approximately 4,000 students use the Moodle system for 1-2 months to take courses for license renewal.
Task 1
There were concerns about decreased response and system downtime because load testing was not performed during the introduction of the Moodle system.
Task 2
The teacher's license renewal training is operated using a different attendance management system from Moodle. While the results such as attendance status and attendance tickets were displayed on Moodle, there were complaints from participants due to slow synchronization.
In addition, improving the functionality of Moodle for administrators, such as creating statistical information for participant registration and attendance confirmation, was also a challenge.
Task 3
Due to the importance of the service for renewing teaching licenses and the short period of availability, it was essential to have stable system operation and comprehensive operational support during the submission period.

During service hours, from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays and Saturdays, we have established a system for operating teacher license renewal training and have also built a system to respond immediately in case of any issues.
Customer Feedback
By conducting load testing, we were able to understand the processing capacity of the entire system. As we knew the limit values during actual service provision, we were able to confidently enter the period of teacher license training.
