QHow many days is the trial (demo) period?: It is 14 days. Trial account data will be deleted after 90 days.
If you switch to the full version after 90 days, retention of data created with the trial account is not guaranteed.

QWhat can I do during the trial?: You can try out all the basic video creation features such as character creation, voice synthesis, and video downloading (excluding sharing features included in higher-tier plans).
Created content will include a "Vyond" watermark.

QCan the "Vyond" watermark be removed from videos created during the trial?: If you purchase a license, you can remove the watermark.

QWhat payment methods are available?: Payments can be made via bank transfer or invoice settlement.

QCan I add accounts (seats) to my current contract?: Adding seats is possible. The contract fee for additional seats will be calculated on a pro-rata basis based on the remaining days of the existing account.

QIs there a monthly plan?: All licenses are annual contracts.
We do not provide refunds for cancellation fees due to early termination after the contract has started.

QIs there any notification when renewing the contract?: As a guideline, we (Human Science) will provide a renewal notice about 60 days in advance.

QI want to change my plan: Please contact us by email with your desired plan.

We will create a quote based on a one-year contract from the change date, deducting the amount already paid on a pro-rata basis.
Please note that refunds cannot be made when changing to a cheaper plan.

QI want to cancel: If you do not wish to renew your contract, please notify us at the time of renewal. Also, refunds for cancellations made mid-term are not available.
The data retention period after cancellation is 18 months (subject to change in the future).

QCan accounts be shared or lent out?: Sharing or lending accounts is prohibited by the Terms of Service.
(For example, using one account by multiple people, or lending the account to someone other than the contract holder.)
If such actions are detected, we may charge license fees according to the actual usage or suspend the account.
Please purchase additional accounts (seats) as needed during your contract.

QWho owns the copyright of the videos?: The intellectual property rights of content created with Vyond (videos and animated GIFs) belong to the customer.
However, all rights to the materials included in Vyond (characters, backgrounds, props, or assets created by GoAnimate) are owned by GoAnimate.

QCan I continue to use (distribute, etc.) the content I created after my Vyond subscription ends?: Yes. You are granted a perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, perform, and distribute the videos you created for your own commercial use.

QCan Vyond materials (such as illustrations) be used for purposes other than videos?: They cannot be used as still images (for books, flyers, goods, etc.).
All rights to the materials included in Vyond (characters, backgrounds, props, or assets created by GoAnimate) are owned by GoAnimate.

QCan I provide or sell the videos I created to third parties?: Whether paid or free, if you provide videos to third parties, you must report the transfer of "commercial rights" and pay a transfer fee (equivalent to $99 per video).

Commercial rights refer to the rights granted to the owner of a Vyond account to use videos for their own purposes. For more details, see here.

QCan Vyond videos be monetized?: You can upload and distribute videos on platforms like YouTube to earn advertising revenue, or sell videos to third parties as your own copyrighted works.
However, if you provide or sell videos for third-party commercial use, you must report the transfer of commercial rights and pay a transfer fee (equivalent to $99 per video).

QCan it be used in media such as television?: A separate contract is required. Please contact us by email.

QCan the editing rights (source data) of a video be transferred to a third party?: This is possible if the video creator has an Agency plan subscription and the transferee has a Vyond license subscription. For plans other than the Agency plan, only the rights to use the video (commercial rights) can be transferred.

QWhat are the system requirements for Vyond?: The recommended environment for Vyond is as follows:
・Hardware… PC with 8GB or more memory (does not work on smartphones or tablets)
　- Windows 7 / SP1 or later / Mac OS
・Browser… all latest versions
　- Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge / Mozilla Firefox

QCan Vyond be used in Japanese?: At present, the original interface is English only.

QHow many editing screens can be opened simultaneously in Vyond?: If you are using a supported browser, you can open up to 10 tabs per session.
It is also possible to copy and paste assets (characters, props, backgrounds, etc.) between tabs.

QAre there any usage limits for Vyond Go?: The number of videos you can generate using Vyond Go (AI video generation) varies depending on your subscription plan.

QCan I add interactive features to videos in Vyond?: You cannot add interactive features (such as quizzes or other viewer-actionable interactive elements) using Vyond alone.
Please import the MP4 files exported from Vyond into other tools like iSpring or Articulate Storyline, or upload them to video sharing platforms to add interactive features.

QIf an error occurs during editing: If an error occurs during editing, please try the following steps.
1) Clear your browser cache
2) Update your browser to the latest version
3) Try a different browser (Chrome / Firefox / Edge)
4) Disable browser plugins and add-ons
5) Try accessing from an incognito/private window
6) Restart your computer
