[Exhibition Report] 2nd Kansai Education ICT Expo
Human Science exhibited at the "2nd Kansai Education ICT Exhibition" held from August 3 to 4, 2017.
What is the Kansai Education ICT Exhibition?
The "Kansai Education ICT Exhibition" is one of the largest comprehensive education ICT exhibitions in Western Japan.
From the perspective of the educational field on "how to utilize ICT for better education," we propose ICT environments and their applications. Although many school officials attend this exhibition, a concurrent event, the "e-Learning Trend Fair," is also held at the same venue, attracting many corporate representatives.
This year, it was held at Intex Osaka (Osaka City) from August 3 (Thursday) to August 4 (Friday), with booth displays from approximately 80 companies. The number of visitors exceeded 7,700 over the two days, surpassing last year's results.
The booth exhibition will focus on "e-learning production" and "manuscript sales"!
Our company offers a variety of services related to e-learning, and among them, the production of e-learning materials with over 1,700 achievements is our strongest area. Therefore, this time, we showcased "e-learning material production" and "sale of customizable e-learning manuscripts" as the main focus.
At the booth, we were able to hear various concerns such as, "I want to introduce e-learning from now on" and "I have already introduced it but am not utilizing it fully." We also received inquiries regarding the transition from Flash to HTML5, which was mentioned in the previous article.
Regarding the sale of manuscripts, many customers were able to pick up the manuscript samples prepared on the desk and looked at them with interest, thinking, "Is there such a service?" In particular, I felt that there were many inquiries about information security and business etiquette, which are essential in any industry.
It was a valuable opportunity to hear the genuine voices and concerns of our customers.
In the open seminar, we will introduce many case studies
At the venue, five seminar stages were prepared, and about 70 seminars were held.
From our company, we presented a seminar titled "e-Learning Development Methods and Case Studies Based on 'What You Want to Do'" where we introduced robust planning and effective teaching material development methods based on our past e-learning production experience, along with many case studies.
In particular, we received positive feedback on the introduction of case studies, so we hope to present various introductions in the seminars after autumn.
Thank you very much to everyone who participated, despite it being early in the morning!
[Customer Feedback] e-Learning for Training and LMS Replacement
We listened to various concerns from our customers at the booth and during the seminar.
- We conduct group training for new employees on business manners and other topics, but we want to reduce costs somehow. Is there a way to easily convert the training to e-learning?
- I want to make the LMS more user-friendly. That said, I want to keep the content I'm currently using as is... Can I ask you to handle the replacement?
In this way, I felt that there were many concerns related to the e-learning of training and the new implementation or replacement of LMS. I realized that the balance between providing better education and costs is a challenging theme for any company.
We will hold a "De-Flash" seminar at our Tokyo headquarters!
As discussed at the exhibition, we believe that the end of Flash support in 2020 will be a significant turning point for e-learning. With the desire to support our customers in any way we can, we have decided to hold a "Flash-free e-learning HTML5 Migration Seminar."
It will be held at our office in Nishi-Shinjuku on September 20 (Wednesday). If you are interested, please join us!
