    1. What is MoodleMoot?

MoodleMoot is a conference where people who use Moodle gather, and it is an event held by the Japan Moodle Association for three days every February. Participants include many university professors, as well as vendors who provide ICT services for companies and schools. There are about 75 presentations and workshops, and how Moodle is being used at each university is shared.
Speakers are mostly university professors, and about half of the explanations are in English. Due to the influence of COVID-19, it was held online for a while, but this year, just like last year, it will be held in person.

    3. Visit from Moodle HQ

This year, Max from Moodle HQ, who is in charge of the APAC region, visited Japan to attend MoodleMoot 2024. On February 14th, he visited Human Science Co., Ltd.
As an official partner of Moodle, Human Science Co., Ltd. regularly (about every 2-3 months) holds meetings for information exchange. Max shared updates on product information and development progress, while Human Science Co., Ltd. shared sales status, customer usage and requests.
During the lunch meeting, we went to eat sukiyaki and Max was very pleased.
