ChatGPT (actually using Copilot with similar functionality) and Vyond GO were used to create educational content on our information security.

■Planning

In creating information security content this time, we first identified improvement points based on the educational content and survey results from the previous year. As a result of implementing a simple education last year, the satisfaction of the participants was low (although the burden of attending was small), and incidents actually occurred. Taking these issues into consideration, we have decided to create more practical and effective content this year.

■Content Creation

1. Story Generation:Using ChatGPT, we generated a story based on an information security incident. However, the story we had in mind was not generated with a single instruction, so we changed the instructions multiple times and regenerated the story. After that, we used Copilot to generate a dialogue centered around the generated story. Finally, we manually adjusted the generated dialogue to complete the content for information security education.

2. Generating Animations:Using Vyond GO, we automatically generated animations based on the story created above. From sound to zoom and cut transitions, we were able to generate a near-complete version in one go. However, there were some areas that needed adjustment, so we are manually fine-tuning them.

3. Creating Explanations: I manually created explanations for the animations using PowerPoint. I organized what were the key points and what should be paid attention to within the animations. This serves as a supplementary material for learners to deepen their understanding of important points and notes in the story depicted by the animations.

4. Creating Quizzes and Quiz Explanations: We have generated quizzes on information security using ChatGPT. We instructed to load internal regulations into ChatGPT and turn them into quizzes. The generated quizzes cannot be used as is, so we manually adjusted them and used tools such as iSpring and Articulate to create actual interactive content.

5. Creating Surveys: We created a survey using ChatGPT to measure satisfaction and understanding of the content. We input the target audience and purpose, and first generated possible evaluation criteria, and finally created a survey proposal. This resulted in a comprehensive survey proposal, but we also manually made adjustments to fine-tune it. Afterwards, we used MS Forms to convert it into a survey format, allowing us to collect feedback from participants.

In the following, we will explain important points to keep in mind and useful things to know when using AI (ChatGPT and Vyond GO) to create content.

Be mindful of security

If there are internal regulations regarding the use of AI and cloud services, you can utilize them based on those regulations. Even if there are no regulations, it is not recommended to use trial versions or free contracts for AI. It is necessary to thoroughly check the terms of service to ensure that data is not reused for AI.

Consider it as an idea generation and always make changes

The output generated by ChatGPT is realistically limited to idea generation. It is not recommended to use it as is. It is essential for a person to check and make adjustments. Additionally, knowledge is required to detect any falsehoods in the generated content.

Thoroughly verify

Animations created with Vyond Go also need to be thoroughly tested for the same reasons as ChatGPT.

Adjust prompt / Reset conversation and regenerate

If you are unable to obtain the desired answer or have concerns about the answer, adjusting the prompt and changing the instructions or resetting the conversation may result in a different outcome.

Through the case study of creating information security education content, it has been proven that utilizing AI has the following two effects.

Efficiency:

By utilizing ChatGPT and Vyond GO, the efficiency of content creation has greatly improved. Animation production has achieved a reduction in workload of about 20% compared to traditional methods. The creation of quizzes and explanations has also reduced workload by 40%, and the creation of surveys can now be done in about 2 hours instead of the estimated one person-day, resulting in a significant reduction in overall workload. However, we believe that with more experience, we can further improve efficiency.

Quality Improvement:

By utilizing AI technology, we were able to create high-quality educational content. In particular, when creating quizzes from scratch manually, there are various issues such as creating trick questions or typos. However, by using ChatGPT, the creator can review from a third-party perspective, allowing for the creation of accurate quizzes.
